Episode 29 – Ezekiel 4:1-5:10

We pressed onward and looked at some of Ezekiel’s play-acting signs of Jerusalem’s imminent judgement. In the Inquisition Thomas responded to the accusation that “Christmas is pagan” and Pastor talked St. Nick’s origins and backstory.

Episode 28 – Ezekiel 3:16-27

We continued through Ezekiel during the first half.  During the inquisition Thomas talked more pet peeves and Pastor spoke on homeschooling.  Then we discussed a quote from Martin Luther’s “The Bondage of the Will”.

Episode 26 – Ezekiel 2:1-3:15

We continued through Ezekiel.  During the Inquisition, Pastor talked about the various words/ideas associated with death and the afterlife (Hell, Hades, Sheol, etc.), and Thomas dealt with how frustrating it is when “faith” is applied too flippantly.

Episode 25 – Ezekiel 1:1-28

We got into Ezekiel, making it through chapter one after some discussion about the background of the book.  Inquisition: Pastor talked about Martin Luther’s book, “On The Babylonian Captivity of the Church”; Thomas talked about VBS.
